You can use the search bar at the top of any page or browse by category to find the instrument and condition you're interested in. Once on the item page, select your rental term (month-to-month,10-month rental for year round, or 9-month rental for traditional), then use the calendar to choose a pickup time. Please note: the calendar will only display the designated Instrument Rental Day for pickup date.

You may also add required books and optional accessories to your cart during this time. Inventory is only visible during the official Instrument Rental reservation window leading up to Rental Day.

For families with multiple students, please complete a separate order for each child.

If you have questions or would like to reserve an instrument after the pickup date, please contact our office for assistance.

This allows us to more accurately track our rentals and also gives us the ability to better serve your needs for any future rentals. Click here to create an account, or click the My Account or Login links on the top of any page. If you have made an account with us in the past, you will still need to make a new account since we are using a new system for rentals.

The Customer Assurance Program is an optional add-on for all rentals. For a monthly fee of $5.00, IPSF will repair damaged instruments or replace lost or stolen instruments, contingent on the monthly instrument rental payments being paid timely and in full. Families remain responsible for intentional or reckless damage to the instrument.

Monthly Option: When you pick up the instrument, you will be charged a non-refundable deposit equal to three months of rental fees. If you select monthly payments, your designated credit card or bank account will be automatically charged beginning three months after the rental date and will continue as long as you have the instrument, even if your child is not using it.

Year (9 Month or 10 Month) Option: If you choose to pay for the entire year upfront, a credit card must be kept on file in the event that you do not return your instrument at the end of the school year. You will then be charged the monthly rental amount for your instrument each month for as long as you have the instrument, even if your child is not using it.

All repairs must be done by Irvine Public Schools Foundation. If your instrument is in need of service or repair prior to the return dates, please contact us or visit the office during our current open hours. Please note that you are responsible for any damage or repairs needed to the instrument while it is in your possession.

Customer Assurance Program: An option is available as part of the rental agreement called the Customer Assurance Program. For a monthly fee of $5.00, IPSF will repair damaged instruments or replace lost or stolen instruments, contingent on the monthly instrument rental payments being paid timely and in full.
